Corona Virus (Covid-19) Relief work

The world is reeling badly under the devastating effects of Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic disease. As we all know our country too imposed long duration of Lockdown in different phases to curb the disease; but poor people, especially the daily laborers have to bear the burnt. In this dire situation of Humanity following the tradition of Ramakrishna Order, Dibrugarh centre came forward to mitigate their suffering to some extent by conducting Relief work among these marginalized people in two different phases. Remote villages as well as some of the localities and slums of the Dibrugarh city were covered under the direct guidance of the Headquarters. In this Relief work we have distributed food items; cooked and uncooked daily provisions of worth Rs. 8.25 lakh(Approx.) among 1355 poor families.
