The Ashrama, as part of its regular religious and spiritual activities, conducts formal worship and daily prayers in the quiet atmosphere of the Shrine in which monks, brahmacharis and the devotees participate. This apart, Tithipujas of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda, birthdays of monastic disciples of Sri Ramakrishna are celebrated round the year. In tune with the catholic and universal attitude of Sri Ramakrishna, the Ashrama also celebrates in a befitting manner the Buddha Purnima, Christmas Eve, and Pujas such as Saraswati Puja, Kali Puja, Shiva Ratri, Janmashthami, Ramnavami and Jagaddhatri Puja are also performed duly. The Jagaddhatri Puja, in particular, is a very massive affair with the Ashrama and it is celebrated through a day-long programme in the Ashrama with all the solemnities. Local people and devotees also come forward with donation and provide many items necessary for the celebration. Besides such regular formal worship and celebrations, the Ashrama also conducts scripture classes to give spiritual food to the spiritual aspirants. It also arranges from time to time Bhakta Sammelan and diksha for the benefit of the local spiritual aspirants.
